| This rambunctious romantic comedy--which was written and directed by the multi-talented John Newcombe, who also stars--has proven a sleeper hit at several film festivals. Three years after being left at the altar, Adam Lewis (Newcombe) finds himself, through a strange set of circumstances, the best man at a wedding of strangers. He and his girlfriend Holly arrive at the event in the small Indiana town of Grass Creek, equipped with a fake story about their relationship to the marrying couple. The inevitable misunderstandings and chaos occur in a hilarious yet heartwarming way. The great Megan Mullally (TV`s WILL AND GRACE) co-stars. |
